I still can't believe my baby girl is 2 years old. I can't believe how time is flying by. I don't even want to imagine life with out her.
To my beautiful daughter,
You are the most amazing girl I have ever known. I have no doubt someday when you are grown we will be best friends. I still think of all the times I imagined what my little girl would be like and I could never imagine any little girl in my wildest dreams as incredible as you. You are Mommy's girl through and through. Although you love everyone! You are so funny and you love to preform. You love to sing and dance and do both all of the time. Your brother is your best friend although you fight a lot. I love your relationship with him. Even though at times you drive him crazy he loves you so much. You are DRAMATIC to say the least and I love it! You are so snuggly and you love to be held. You talk up a storm and although you have a really big vocabulary for a 2 year old you have some crazy language that you speak and you tell the most elaborate stories along with hand gestures and head nods. I so wish I knew what you were saying! If I were to describe you in one word it would be "shiny." I can't explain it but that's just how you are. You just shine.
You are so small! You weigh 22 lbs 4.8 oz and you are 35 inches tall. That's 5th percentile for weight and 75th for height. You wear mostly 18-24 month sized clothing and a size 4 diaper although we are working on potty training! You wear a size 5 shoe.
You love your babies. You are such a good little mommy. You also love to play dress up! You also love to play whatever your brother is playing!
One of my biggest fears besides losing you or your brother is something happening to me and you never knowing how adored you are. So, I want it here on the internet for all time. Your Daddy and I love you more than words can ever say. You and Max are our lives. I am never happier then when I am snuggled up with you, Max, and Daddy. I love every second of being your Mommy and every second of watching you grow. I kiss you a million times a day but there will never be enough kisses, hugs, or words to make you understand how much I love you.
I'm so proud of you. You are such an amazing person. You are kind, polite, and loving yet you are feisty! I know you will charge thru life with so much grace and spirit and I will be your biggest fan.
Happy birthday sweet girl and always know that I love you.

For some reason Max loves Oklahoma City. He wants to go there all the time and is thrilled when we are there. Well, today Jeff was nice enough to run the kids and me up there for a quick mall trip. We got there about 20 minutes before they closed and Max was just dying to go to the Lego store. I gave him a $20 bill he had been saving since last Easter and told him he could go get something with it (he had really been wanting to use his own money for some reason?) Well, I told him we didn't have enough time to do the Lego store and run my errand so he would have to show Uncle Puh where the Lego store was on his own. I should also mention we were on the other end of the mall. Well, I am one proud Mom because my baby knows his way around the mall like a pro! Jeff said he knew exactly where he was going. I just thought it was kind of funny because we usually park by Macy's which is right by the Lego store but I was going to Pottery Barn Kids and we came in that door. So he even knew how to get there from the wrong direction.
On the way home he was saying the Pledge of Allegiance for Uncle Puh. He will not say it without a flag so I pulled up a picture of one on my phone. Then he asked to see the blue flag which led Jeff and I into singing Oklahoma! Max asked us to sing Oklahoma City's song. I told him I didn't know it if they had one. So he proceeded to sing his own. I'm posting the words because I NEVER want to forget!
Where the bad guys kill creatures but not tigers
When the wind comes in to Olive Garden!
Needless to say Uncle Puh and I have been singing that catchy little song all night!
I LOVE this boy!

When we were at the mall this last weekend a few of the Star Wars characters visited Build A Bear! Max was so excited! He (and Pat) got to get their pictures made with everybody. The highlight of the meeting was when Max asked Jango Fett why he carries two guns. Apparently Max asks Pat this quite frequently and Pat has to tell him he doesn't know. Well, Max got the opportunity to ask the man himself! Jango Fett's reply was priceless. He whipped both guns out and pointed them at Max's head while saying, "to incinerate you faster!" Max LOVED every minute of it!

This little girl enjoyed a Halloween cookie today!
Max and I went to Target today while Maddi was at MDO and he begged for this.
I wish I could say we created a great memory decorating this thing, but I'd be lying. It kept falling in and I was seriously in tears. After I got it to finally stay up Max did enjoy decorating it and then Maddi enjoyed eating the candy he didn't use!
When we do our Gingerbread House for Christmas we will definitely wait on Pat! He's much better (and more patient) at them then I am!

Back in July Max was at the lake with Mimi and Papa so Pat and I took Maddi to Penn Square. As I usually do, I went into the Coach store to look around. Maddi went in and went nuts over the purses. I had been toying with the idea of getting her a small Coach purse for her birthday or Christmas because she just LOVES purses so much. Well, she found this purple one that she wouldn't let go (her fave color is purple!) Pat came in the store and I showed it to him. I told him I thought it would make a good birthday or Christmas gift. He said no way he was making her wait to get her purse and he went right up to the register and paid!! Maddi loves her purse and loves to carry it everywhere!
This past weekend we were back in the Coach store looking around and the sales women all remembered Maddi and were laughing at her once again trying on purses and choosing her favorite. They said she is their youngest customer and then one of them asked to take her picture trying on the bags. They are actually going to send her picture to Coach!! So who knows, they may have a new model in their future advertising :-)

I got Max and Maddi Halloween PJ's again this year. This is a crummy iphone picture but hopefully I will remember to take one with my cameral soon and replace it.
And here they are last year. I can't believe how much they have both grown! I looked in last years PJ's and Max's were a size 3. This years are a size 5!!! Maddi's last year were 6-12 months and I remember they were pretty big. This year her's are 18-24 months but she definitely could have gotten by with 12-18.

Max started Pre-K on August 20th. He was so excited to start "big boy school." He really loves school and looks forward to going every day. He has made a lot of friends! His best friends are Aiden, Drew, and Riley. He only goes from 8-10:30 but I think it's a good way to transition us all :-)
I will never forget his first day. I walked him in and managed to make it almost out of the building before I cried. I really hated leaving him there but he was so happy to go. I think I traumatized poor Maddi. I sat out in the parking lot and cried until his class came outside and I knew I better leave before he saw me! I can't even begin to imagine how hard it is going to be when I drop Maddi of for her first day....
With his teacher Mrs. Tyler at his open house.
Max and Mrs. Dismuke his assistant teacher.
